Smok TFV8 Baby 'The Baby Beast'
Smok TFV8 Baby 'The Baby Beast'
When vapers purchase the Smok Baby Beast, they receive a tank plus two coil heads. These are the Q2 and the X4. A brand new glass tube is also part of the kit because even strengthened glass can be broken by allowing the tube to roll off of flat surface onto a hard floor.
Babies always grow to look and act a little like their parents. The Baby Beast is a lot like its predecessor, the SMOKTECH TFV8, but smaller.
Consumers who found the original TFV8 a little too large for their petite mods will like the TFV8 Baby Beast a lot better.
Smok for Everyone
Size matters to vapers who are using powerful vape mods and trying to travel with them. They don’t fit easily into a bag whether that is a messenger bag, briefcase, or purse when the system is too bulky, including their tank. The larger a tank is, the more exposed its glass seems to be.
A smaller product is less vulnerable and also creates a shorter profile for more discrete vaping. It’s also unnecessarily large on a low-watt device whereas big capacity for e juice and wattage is necessary when you’re operating a 200W machine.
When you take the best of a TFV8 tank and make it smaller, the Baby Beast is your result. Where the parent is large enough to hold 6 ml of e juice, the baby holds half that amount.
Vapers can still control airflow accurately and fill from the top, and with that top-fill system, there is no need for a big tank anyway if all you’re worried about is having to remove an RBA constantly throughout the day if the reservoir is small.
SMOKTECH reduced the reservoir and also thinned their TFV8 at the waist to 22 mm instead of 24 mm and it is shorter too by about 15 mm. Its designers were also thinking of mods that put out less power than the bigger article can handle.
Where that one offers compatibility with 260W and a recommended level of 180W, the TFV8 Baby Beast is best suited to between 30 and 80 watts. That’s decent, and easily enough to suit an 80W device like the SMOK R-Steam or XPro Plus M80.
Coils and Airflow
Smok’s Baby Beast features its own octuple coils in the form of dual Quad coils. They also offer a Q2 coil. Your options are 0.2 ohms and 0.15 ohms in order to produce maximum clouds. There is an internal system for creating airflow facilitated by two openings at the bottom.
An airy opening increases vapor. Combine these elements with a special turbine for pulling air in from the base and e juice vapor from any other 22-mm tank will be inadequate.
Overview of the Baby Beast by SMOK
So let’s go over that again. The Baby Beast loses several millimeters in its measurements and its juice tube is cut in half, but that’s without losing top-filling capacity. Construction, as always, is top-notch. Smok employs reinforced glass so that e liquid does not pick up a nasty flavor from the tube.
Furthermore, stainless steel is durable for many months of unscrewing/re-building, cleaning, refilling, and regular use overall. An insulated drip tip provides protection for sensitive skin and the wide size lets vapor flow. Like everything else, it can be removed and cleaned.
